Tourism Seychelles has strengthened its presence in Türkiye with a high-level delegation hosting its first promotional events of 2025, positioning Seychelles for strong performance in the Turkish market this year.
On January 23 and 24, Tourism Seychelles held a press event and a dedicated workshop at the Swissôtel The Bosphorus in Istanbul. The two events drew significant attention, attracting more than 50 representatives from the Turkish travel trade sector and 33 media professionals. The strong turnout ensured broad visibility and awareness of Seychelles as a destination.
The events focused on showcasing Seychelles’ natural beauty, hospitality offerings, improved flight access, and its appeal to Turkish travelers seeking island experiences, cultural authenticity, and year-round warm weather. The workshop further enabled travel partners to strengthen direct relationships, exchange market insights, and develop new sales strategies for promoting Seychelles in Türkiye.
Türkiye remains a market with rising outbound travel and increasing interest in long-haul tropical destinations. Establishing a strong foothold early in the year supports Seychelles’ strategy to diversify visitor markets and reduce reliance on traditional tourism sources.
